Reserve Bank cuts rate by 25 basis points to 7.25%

The South African Reserve Bank has lowered the benchmark interest rates by 25 basis to 7.25%, citing global economic volatility and uncertainty that are expected to dampen global growth, governor Lesetja Kganyago said on Thursday.
